Thule SlideBar Full Roof Bar Kit

The Thule SlideBar Evo revolutionises roof bar design with its innovative telescopic sliding mechanism, earning prestigious design awards including the Red Dot Award for product design excellence. These premium aluminium roof bars feature a unique square profile that extends outward by up to 600mm, allowing you to load and unload gear from the side of your vehicle rather than climbing or reaching over the roof. This game-changing feature makes the SlideBar Evo the ultimate choice for tall vehicles, SUVs, and anyone who values convenience and ease of use.

Precision-engineered from lightweight aluminium with integrated T-track technology, the SlideBar Evo combines the practicality of its sliding design with the strength to carry loads up to 100kg. The square aerodynamic profile reduces wind resistance while the sliding mechanism locks securely in place during transit. One-handed operation makes extending and retracting the bars effortless, while the integrated T-track system provides full-length accessory mounting capability. Whether you're loading roof boxes, bikes, or kayaks, the SlideBar Evo makes roof loading safer, faster, and more comfortable.

Installing your Thule SlideBar Evo roof bars follows Thule's established fitting procedure, with the added benefit of pre-integrated sliding mechanisms that require no additional setup. The Railing foot pack system attaches securely to your vehicle's roof mounting points using vehicle-specific brackets included in the kit. Installation typically takes 25-35 minutes with basic hand tools.

The comprehensive fitting guide includes detailed instructions specific to your vehicle model, ensuring correct positioning of the foot packs for optimal load distribution and sliding operation. Video tutorials demonstrate the installation process and proper use of the sliding mechanism. Once installed, the SlideBar can be locked in both extended and retracted positions using Thule lock cylinders (sold separately). The split T-track rubber strips allow accessory installation without removing the bars from your vehicle.
